i didn't need to have a baby to feel fulfilled, but having my son has made me feel more whole than i ever have.

i love my husband and son more than anything in this world and for someone to say that i got pregnant merely to feel fulfilled hurts me at my core.

okay, can i just say that i love ellen.  today, her show was filled with pregnant women... complete with a 'ready to pop' section and all.  not only that, but she had on a fake belly (that made her look about 12 months pregnant) and gave away TONS of stuff.  everyone in the audience got $4300 worth of stuff for their babies ( Read more... )

well, i went to the doctor last monday and things weren't so great.  turns out, i had some rapid weight gain (15 pounds in three weeks), high blood pressure, and some major swelling - all of which are signs of preeclampsia (pregnancy induced hypertension) SO they sent me to the hospital for some blood work and to be monitored.  turns out, it was ( Read more... )
