inquiring minds need to know

two questions, really, and on total opposite ends of the spectrum, of course.

1. so it's good friday. alright. what does that mean? i know jesus came back to life sometime around this season, but i thought it was easter when he showed himself to mary magdalen? and if so, what made today so good?

kinda girly, could be crossing the information-line )

Good Friday is the day when Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus.

so good friday is when he died? somehow i thought that wouldn't be... ya know, good. lol

(i didn't pay much attention when i was forced to go to cathechism... my mom made me go. my highlight was the happy meal from mcdonald's that i'd get afterwards) :)

Haha, I don't really know why it's called "good" either, but yup, it's when he died. Maybe it's good in hindsight because he came back later on? Umm. Don't mind me. ;) I'm showing my ignorance here. Obviously, I didn't pay attention in Sunday School, either! :P
