amen sister! i hear everything you're saying here :)

on the membership to bj/s. we have one to sams for about 8 years now. we love it. we totally make it up over the year and i highly recommend. and, buying tires there is cheaper than buying them anywhere else :)

We're up to $4.00/gallon out here. I'm really trying to find my "interim employment" right in town so I don't spend too much in gas. Riding the BART train into San Francisco is great (and environmentally friendly!) but at $9.50 roundtrip it's actually cheaper to drive.

I've found that buying some of our grocery staples at Target actually saves us some money. Farmer's markets have great deals, and you gotta love eating fresh foods! And I second Nicki's vote for Sams club. I always bought my tires there when on the East Coast.

i add my vote for sams club tires! i've never had an issue and had one get a nail in it but they replaced it without hassel cuz it had only been a month or two since i had bought it, and they're very nice over there! :n)

is there any option to work from home some days as gas prices go higher and higher? i just had that chat with my boss last friday, on days when its slower here, i would like to work from home to save gas money and she agreed that that's reasonable. how bad is erich's drive to and from s windsor? do you still carpool some days?

and i hear that one that the gov't "spending incentive" is pretty much already gone for us too! :n) spending on OIL incentive! hahahaaa :n)

love you!!!
