I woke up, and felt wonderful today. I smiled for absolutely no reason.

That said, people are dumb. They don't get it.

Oh well, I'm still in a good mood. I feel better.

I just happened upon your journal.. somehow. I think comedians are the most interesting of performers. How do you get gigs? Is it the same as acting where you have to audition, or is it amateur stuff/word of mouth?

Well, right now, I'm at the point where I'm just doing open mic nights, which pretty much anyone can do. As you get noticed, it becomes more about word of mouth...getting your name out there, getting people talking about you, etc.
