If there is a bullseye like rash surrounding them or any other type of bright red ring, you may want to get it checked out at the doctor. because that would indicate a deer tick bite with the potential for lyme disease. I should know, it happened to me. luckily, even though I had lyme, I caught it soon enough and the antibiotics killed it off.
