i have eaten 2 apples in 2 days....that is pretty good. i am hoping to get out to the apple orchard next weekend. i am going to try and make steve a pie....TRY is they key word. everybody talks about the crust being the hardest.....personally the whole thing sounds hard..HA ( Read more... )

The crust is kind of tricky but at least the ingredients aren't very expensive. If you mess up, don't worry. You'll know instantly what you did wrong and the second time around will probably work out. And if it doesn't, get a package of the refrigerated pie crust from Pillsbury -- they are pretty tasty.
