So I have officially received my first job offer for the post-college era. It is an executive team leader/human resources position for Target, with a $45,000 starting salary. I don't know much about starting salaries, but it sounds on the decent side to me. Much better than making negative dollars, which is what I'm currently netting in school. I

mylee, you need to take that job! store managers (who have to be in retail for yeaaars before moving up) start somewhere in the $50,000-$60,000 range. so try it out for at least six months to get experience. and also to get your basis salary level from here on out.
