2. I'm so glad I only watch a handful of these shows. The list is overwhelming. I'm surprised that some terrible shows even got a second season (Kevin Can F**k Himsef, Walker, B Positive) but am surprised and delighted The Great North was renewed at all. The mister will be pleased.
3. I'm surprised that Resident Alien is Syfy's only show, too. We're enjoying it, though, so I'm glad we get more.

I loved the reactions from the princesses -- as Mike commented, "They probably don't meet gentlemen often."
A number of these got renewals before their first seasons even finished airing. I think the CW renewed Walker before the first five episodes were out. It makes me wonder what the numbers looked like by the end of the season.
Re: SyFy it makes me wonder if the network has suffered from the fact that now everyone does some kind of fantasy/scifi programming. Whereas back when it launched scifi was still considered a nerdy niche thing.

I've been hearing it'll be shorter than normal, with just 6 episodes, but that's not confirmed. I'm thinking Prime will ration it out like they did last season, probably give us 2 or 3 episodes to start, then go weekly.
I recall talk of The Orville moving to Hulu for season three, but that was back when season two ended in April 2019. It was taking forever even before COVID hit, so I'd honestly expected it wouldn't happen. Looks like they've completed filming, but no telling how long until it airs ( ... )

We use Roku too but I've only ever searched for channels/streamers rather than content. Good to know!
I suspect it's so that FX can also be sold independently as a streaming service, whereas now it's just bundled with Hulu (not unlike how HBO Max had been bundled with AT&T Now for some time).
We will probably be doing a month of Hulu in October since I'd rather wait to pick up Prime once Expanse's new season is at least airing if not completed.
