i was thinking today, that i will miss kaleidoscope yarns. maybe wally will say he is sorry by sending me lots of yarn? he must pass pretty near there on his way to and from work, and i certainly deserve some nice hand-painted machine washable sock yarn (something like, say cherry tree hill supersock in the monet colorway? or lorna's laces

uh, if you ever want to plan a pilgrimage (how IS that word spelled?) to the city to go to yarn stores, i'd be down. cause i'm a poser.

i'm just sayin.

there also might be a yarn place somewhere in westchester that will send a yarn VAN to pick you up and take you to the store. maybe. whatever.

um, well i'll be going into the city both on friday (internship!) and saturday. i kind of feel like retail therapy-ing on yarn (i, also, had some money saved up for rent/furniture. i'm sure i could find better uses for it, but...). there's a good store at broadway and 28th and one on 14th just east of union square. neither are great, but they're both ok. the first one tends to have some good deals if you look hard enough and don't mind unlabelled yarn that doesn't come with any gauge/material information.

no prob! im redoing my shawl to be a triangle so it can be wider/longer at the appropriate parts :) i can never do anything just once
