Well, we finally told Sonja we're moving Hustle.

She was kinda gracious about it and kinda furious underneath that. She wanted to tell me what kind of person I am, but I cut her off sorta. There's nothing she can tell me about myself that someone hasn't already mentioned, I don't think. Good for you! If Sonya can't understand that you need to move Hustle to a stable that will work better for you, she just needs to get over herself. The new stable sounds absolutely lovely, and I hope that you are all very happy there. I REALLY wish that I could come over and help you with the training... I'm going nuts here, no contact with a horse in MONTHS... argh! I wanna go for a RIDE *whine, snivel*, sigh... we are in the middle of an ice storm at the moment, with nearly a half inch down already, and it's still raining/sleeting. I've got to be at work in about 6 hours, and I'm NOT looking forward to the drive in... 4 wheel drive doesn't help at ALL on ice. I'll be amazed if we get through the day without someone crashing one of the ambulances. I'm probably going to have to drive most of the day, since I'm working with a brand new EMT with nearly no experience driving a heavy, torquey vehicle on crappy Michigan roads ( ... )

It's working out. Curt went by today to see Hustle and Sonja helped him lunge him in the round pen and recommended a couple of bits to him, too. She also re=extended the invitation to us to go team penning this Thursday night with Hustle. Which he accepted 'cause we really want to do it ( ... )
