This is very good news. Finally, relief for a terrible condition.

As for it not being a drug specifically for CFS... That should not deter it's usage. Spiriva is for COPD but those of us with chronic severe asthma being treated with it are showing remarkable improvement.

Hang in there, lady. I do hope this new drug will work for you if'n your doctor is willing to prescribe it.

Oh WOW! This is terrific news! I do hope that this medication lives up to it's billing and gives people relief from this horrible condition. Is your doctor willing to prescribe it to you?
*keeping fingers crossed for good news*

Don't know yet. I'll be seeing one of them on the 28th of this month and the other one next month. I fear they'll be too cautious about the off-label use, but I am trying to get in touch with the friend of the friend who took it and see who prescribed it for him (if not himself).

Also I'm looking forward to the results of their 30 patient Phase I trial that was started in 2007 at Stanford. I hope I can get on the list for Phase II or Phase III if I haven't found a way to score it otherwise.

There's NO CHANCE I'm not going to try it.
