I know it's cliche but I love Shark Week. I think there is something inherently awesome/scarey about sharks.  They're definitely an 'irrational fear.' I LOVE SHARK WEEK! I remember trying to plan my summer visit to the grandparents around it because they had cable and my parents did not. I'm such a tv nerd.

I agree about the "fear factor" of sharks, they are just so scary because we don't understand them. I have an irrational fear of bears. Not a good thing to have when I was camping/hiking in Montana. I just freeze when I see them. I'm so useless :)
