So I'm in the market for a new laptop and it's really shitty trying to decide what to get because I WANT ANOTHER MAC BUT I DONT HAVE THE MONEY :( :( :( I've been REALLY impressed with my mac's performance and I dont know if something else can live up to it

how old is your current mac? for some reason i thought it was fairly new.

The Lenovo S10 can run OS X with a bit of tinkering. The only thing that doesn't work is the ethernet... and you can take care of that with a usb ethernet adapter. Looks like it's $400.
