I have a new roommate. Her name is Hollis. She is a sophomore and exceedingly friendly. I am quite pleased with this turn of events--quite honestly I don't know if I could be more pleased.
So, yay.
I'm going to Memphis on Friday to see Of Montreal, and eat bbq.
Hopefully things are looking up.

I finished my novel. (And finals).

Ahhh.

I've been trying to keep writing 2,000 words a day of my novel. Doing that while memorizing Greek is really difficult. Also, I am chewing gum to avoid walking down three flights of stairs and getting popcorn from the vending machine in the lobby, but honestly my stomach is staring to ache and I just may need that popcorn. This weekend I am going to immerse myself in Ancient Greek.

I am choosing to slip into a studying frenzy where I walk around in a daze and never blink. Or something. All I know is that I desire to do extremely well on my Greek final.

Yuck. They aren't kidding about the "freshman 15." Although I haven't actually weighed myself, I just feel like I'm a little too fat these days. I am addicted to my anime music. I've got three Gundam Wing and one Fushigi Yuugi CD on my computer, as well as a Two-Mix collection. (Where is my Glay??) And I have not listened to a song in English for two days.

Why do I like this music so much? It's like late 80s soft rock with Japanese lyrics. I can't get enough.
