That last part is seeming more and more likely by the minute.

I believe insane is an ill-suited word on the matter. Everyone's merely speaking another language.

[just raaaaises an eyebrow at that as he tries to parse it. thankfully, he 1) took Spanish for his high school foreign language requirement and 2) was enrolled in a school that didn't employ Will Schuester for a Spanish teacher. after a few moments, in decent - not perfect by any means - Spanish:]

Normally, I can understand everyone here rather easily, despite the fact that they may be from a country halfway across the world and speak a language that I can't even pretend to read.
