Despite feeling quite sleepy on my way home, im actually quite awake now.
just cant fall asleep :S
im really into k-pop recently, not that i've nv been into k-pop,
but immensely crazy into k-pop AND korean accessories etc.
SHINee & lately growing interest in suju (esp heechul&hankyung :D :D)
anyhows, online shopping can be quite addictive, my....... :S
bought a couple of bags, bangles & clothes for the past 2 months.muahahahah...
oh! i'm going to NUS open house tmr, in fact, say abt 10 hours later.
i'm pretty sure abt my choices, just not sure which to put 1st, 2nd & so forth.
seen simon, & its time to see tong.hmmmmmm...
just went to low's blog.
"Your grades are merely a reflection of your state of mind in those few hours, not what you've learnt and experienced over the last 2 years. "
Hmmmms, it really strike me for a moment.
Yes, no doubt, its indeed just those few hours that determine on wat grade u'll get, as such, wat u'll be studying in uni & where to head on after JC life.
It seems so surreal.
But, like wat low & min said, its abt your perceptions & maturity towards ur life, & the experiences learnt that matters most, at least in the long run. Afterall, we all have to face the working world one day, & grades (surely, still holds a significant place), but its how we present & market ourselves that matters most ultimately if u really want to succeed.
Well, that's for most ppl i feel. c'mon even those really frigging smart PSC scholars etc have to market themselves besides consistently producing superb grades ya. lol.
anyhows, recently i realise im quite poor at comforting ppl. so much for trying, but yea.
practicality overcomes me easily, its really tough to give idealistc comments as comfort but harsh(maybe) 'comforting' seem to be quite a heavy dose to some frens.
i'm really sorry, really. for not being much of a help, tho i really want to.
on a lighter note,
mum kinda agree to let me highlight my hair.
OK, i know it sounds like nothing, but to me its really sth alright (:
esp when my mum was SUPER adamant for the past couple of years for permission to highlight my hair.
yes, SADLY, my mum though more liberal than before, still rule over my hair ):
YES! im gonna highlight my hair before entering uni, finally. GREAT :D
