(no subject)
Perhaps it's the holiday season, maybe it was Thanksgiving break and the break that is soon to come, or maybe it has something to do with making new friends that put a smile on my face, but, just for the record, I feel back to my old perky self again. While I've grown stronger and maybe a tiny bit wiser, the "dark times" are over, at least for now. With that, I would like to say to those of you who read my livejournal to please disregard most of my prior posts. While they were all honest depictions of my life, they were also composed over the most emotionally taxing time of my life thus far.
Basically, I just want to let everyone know that I am in a good place...and that I haven't been this happy since sometime last semester.
I'm still not sure how I am going to make it through finals week alive...but I guess I have no choice because I've got so much to look forward to over Winter break that I can hardly stand it! Here's what it's looking like so far:
-at least a couple trips to NYC with Emily
-Boston for some New Year's festivities (I hope!!)
-working...I am officially the designated singer at The Gap at Evergreen Walk...so maybe I might get to sing some carols or something, not to mention I'll be getting PAID
-real quality time with my family
-almost all if not all of my friends are coming home:)
Those are good enough reasons to survive finals, right?
Okay, one more listen to Sleigh Ride, and I'm out.
