oh good! its so nice to know that people really do have concern about this kind of thing... i know that it may seem that i just want peace and thats futile and stupid to wish for, but its so hard to read about other people's lives being so hard when ours are just so easy! like we all have problems, and im no one to discredit those, but we dont worry for our lives every day! wow! it just blows me away that this is going on in Haiti (and my other main news focus of Tibet)... so thanks guys for caring

oh man! i would love to... i would really do anything to get there like tomorrow.. but if only $ were not such a prevalent issue! im working now and mebbe i can work it out to pay for some of it... and have my parents pay for the rest because i really wanna go!

Do yourself the favor of talking to Jean about it. As she'd tell you, there are so many ways of finding money. For example, a kid from my temple handed out flyers at services for a while explaining the cause and asking people to donate money, and he raised enough money and went and loved it!

I would especially love to spend a portion of my summer down there with you. It would be AMAZING!

yes I have been keeping track; my friend Piya's dad travels to haiti two or three times a month, and spends extended periods of time there. anyways, so she forwards me the emails she's gotten from family that live there
