This sounds completely superstitious and dumb, but for the past three years now, I have been rejected the week before, during, or after Memorial Day weekend.

Charlie, then Alan, and now this. Seriously. I am closing the doors of Beth's heart for eternity. Third time's the charm. I hate heartache.

I'm done shedding tears; I'm going to go nap.

The only thing I can think is that you should remove Memorial Day from your calendar next year and see if it changes things. The good thing about any streak is that you can always start a new one, in the opposite direction.
