Morrolan is pretty damn good -- telepathy is part of his culture, so mental shields are basically the norm. He's happy to converse with you telepathically, but trying to dig will annoy him, which means he'll discourage it emphatically and possibly with fire. Morrolan solves many problems with violence, so trying to screw with him is mildly suicidal; probably best avoided.

Stiaan is also a very skilled psychic, among other things, but he'll probably just block you instead of getting violence-happy in your direction. If the situation comes up, we will talk things over, most likely, but as with Morrolan pushing him too far is liable to be hazardous to one's health. ("Too far" gives a lot more leeway than Morrolan, mind; Stiaan's not a terribly violent person.)
