The message of second class citizenship sent by these damn laws is disheartening, I know. D: My only consolation is that they will eventually be overturned. Just like the laws banning miscegenation, abortion, and knowledge of contraceptives were finally repealed or struck down, these will also eventually be removed.

The way things are going, the issue might even reach the Supreme Court within the next 4 years, hopefully after at least one of the current conservative judges retires. :D (I can dream, right?)
