05 - Unable to Sleep

I'm relieved the weather has changed to cooler temperatures... I've been unable to sleep for the past few nights.

I do hope Gabranth is keeping Archades calm in my absence... I want peace to exist in Ivalice, and am unable to be present during the negotiations now... I cannot just forget that, as Miss Yuuko suggested.

Archades, Ivalice, huh? So, are you an important figure there?

I wouldn't worry too much. Most countries don't want war anyway! If you have someone you trust to act in your absence, I'm sure they'll make the right choices.

I worry what they will press for with my sudden disappearance...

I'm sure everything with turn out all right. We're all worried about our homes, but I'm sure the ones at home wouldn't want us to worry until we can't sleep...

It is what may happen as a result of my sudden disappearance that worries me more than the pressing issues here. I am afraid I cannot free myself from that feeling.

I see... well actually I don't... I can't really say I know what you're going through, but I'm sure we all will go back someday so be sure to take care of yourself. Going back battered from no sleep probably won't make the situation any better would it?

I can give you some sleep powder to help you sleep at night if you want.

Thank you, but it was not worry keeping me up late at night. It was the heat. Now that that has abated, I'm certain I'll be able to sleep.
