Its so hard to have someone be completly honest with their feelings towards you and hate themselves for it, but to not be able to tell them how great they are and how much they do mean to you because that would just lead them on and cause more frustration and confusion for them. If it makes you feel any better...you did the right thing Jewely. I know that it's hard for you, and that life is really complicated right now, but just give it time. The akwardness will eventually pass and (hopefully) you'll have your old life back to normal again (with a few minor adjustments)
