I have wanted more faerie art in the house for a while and this weekend allowed me the opportunity to purchase a piece I have always loved, Linda Ravenscroft's The Marked One.  It now hangs above our sofa.

The world of faerie moves me deeply.  The first time I saw this paining, I cried. fc2009, faeriecon 2009

I've always been partial to Ruth Thompson's artwork ever since I saw her dragon at a convention. Her site is Tarnished Images . She does faerie work as well which I found quite lovely. She does excellent matting and framing jobs for the purchased artwork as well. :) I have lots of dragons around my home.

Her style reminds me of some graphic novels...very nice. I love the wings on the faerie on the opening page!
