I don't know whether this makes me happy or sad. I have no doubt nothing will equal the joy of the show. Ever. I mean, seriously, how is that possible? No Linda Gray, no Larry, no Patrick = not Dallas. However, these casting choices just sound... bad. Yet, at the same time, the idea of any Dallas movie makes me want to jump with joy. oh.... oh.... NO!
that cast for Dallas seems...... misplaced.
ok, im not as big a fan of that show as you are, but it played a BIG part in my chilkdhood (not sure if i ever told you about the school bus memory)..... much as i love Jogn travolta or mel gibson, that's just the type of show that will always be engraved in my mind with the ORIGINAl cast. Even if they are not fit to play the parts for some reasons

completely off topic - Tommy is snoring louder than a human as i type this

Misplaced is totally the word.

Really? You must tell me your school bus memory!

I fell in love with this show via reruns. It's so witty and campy - I adore it.

Tommy! :P

school bus memory - i wasnt a happy kid (noooooooo really???), and was quite teased at school (oooooh dont i surprise you at times????') but i was a camper and goofed off especially at the school bus ride home. So in the night runs (they always droped me off last, i had to at least entertain myself) i remember i would look out the back and it was night and the city lights and lit building made me want to sing the Dallas tune. So i did. And everybody would join in, surprisely.

Tommy could play the dumb blonde bimbo .... :D
