Only a week of work left. Today has been oddly productive in terms of work. I did stuff that I should have done weeks ago. I don't know why all of a sudden now I'm starting to have some sort of work ethic, but I don't see this phase lasting long ( Read more... )

i got my three day passes months ago, and i know someone who has two one day passes who can't go and may be looking to sell them if you're interested.

is your internship at the limited not fun? working at the limited would be cool... not just because of the employee discount. i think you would fit in pretty well at dell - it's pretty laidback.

it's fun, it's the best job i've ever had...i just think i don't like work in general. it's a desk job, and i'd like to experience something different. i also think i have an ego/philosophical conflict where i'm slowly realizing that i don't want to work in the business world. if i do, it'd be owning my own company.

i've been writing for the daily texan and the austin student all summer and i like interviewing people, so that's why i've been looking at newspapers to intern at next year.

really? dell's laid back? maybe i'll look into them next year too. do they provide housing assistance or anything? one of the people in the victoria secret marketing department up here in columbus is moving to austin to work for dell. i'll talk with him on monday to see if he can put in a good word for me...
