You would think that after a game system has been out for TWO YEARS places would figure out how to keep them stocked. But no. My grandmother asked what it was that Natalie wanted for Xmas that I said was a big no-no. The Nintendo DS. I explained I don't think she is responsible enough, just yet, to be carrying around such an expensive thing. ( Read more... )

Heh, you are talking to a deal phreaker. If I see any on-line or locally for the retail price ($250), I'll let you know. I got my Wii from Amazon.com nearly a year ago for retail, but I lucked out. Amazon was sold out of them within 5 minutes of putting them on sale. :/

Wally World has them online.

Add local sales tax plus about $15 for shipping. Might also find it in the store. My uncle was looking for one as well, and was told by an employee they often stock their shelves on Wednesday early afternoon...

Good luck! :)

Hah, or maybe we just spend the money on something more reasonable that I don't have to keep buying expensive games for. I've never been a game system/video game person. The only reason I'm even considering the Wii is because Nintendo has much more kid-friendly games and the Wii is more "active-play". It would be a nice thing to have on super hot days or freezing cold days, I suppose.

Ben called Gamers and they said they will definitely have more in before Christmas and he'll be called right away. So, we'll see. :)

Target.com (was in stock when I checked -- who knows how long that will last, though).

Also, periodically check this site: WiiTracker.
