We met up with the Santas at the Library.

The police had been called, so Santa was moving along pretty quickly.

Walking down the street, you could look in a coffee shop, or smaller restaurant, and there would be a table full of santas, and the rest of the coffee should would be full of normal people. It was one of those nice subtle yet surreal touches.

There were too many Santas to cross the road with one walk light, so in transit, you could be walking down the street with a mob of 30 santas, and across the street would be another mob.

I didn't get any shots of it, but this car couldn't get up the hill, and for a minute or two, 5-8 Santas were pushing, trying to help the car up the hill. It was super cute. Flash-mob-of-Santa-helpful-neighbors.

At some point right around here, a cop car drove by, and the cop threw us horns!! \m/

SOOO MANY SANTAS!!

We invaded Pike's Place Brewery. We filled the back room, we filled the bar, we spilled over into a couple tables in the rest of the place. Every few minutes someone would start a loud HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Until most of the santas were yelling with him HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Sometimes it would be followed up with a faster chant of "HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO! HO!"

At some point we had a Santa down. Who was taken care of by the rest of the Santas. No Santa left behind!

So I was lazy, and busy, and {some other crappy excuse}... so I didn't have much of a costume. One of the kinda-organizer-types had some spare "costume" stuff, but it was "for girls" and didn't think I'd be interested. I was of course interested. I even had on long johns under my pants, so I took my pants off, and put a pair of red crotchless fishnets on over my long johns. I have no idea what I was saying in this photo, but its brilliant:
