Traveling movie review #4: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse today.
Significantly better than I had expected. They did not tell everything about the movie in the trailers I saw.

Traveling movie review #3: Bumblebee
Caught Bumblebee at the AMC Lowes Boston Common 19.

A wonderful love story of a girl and her bot. :)
OK, and a girl dealing with the loss of her father, and a budding romance with a boy ("We're not quite there, yet.")
I enjoyed it, and it didn't feel quite so much like the screentime with the humans was taking too much attention from the Autobot ( Read more... ) -
Boston travel review
The Freedom Trail Tour is well worth the $12 price. It does involve quite a lot of walking, so definitely keep that in mind.
Our tour guide was a historian who specialized in 17th & 18th Century Boston. She was wonderful, and I wish I could remember her name. *sigh* -
Traveling movie review #2: Peter Rabbit
Between ORD and BOS, I watched Peter Rabbit.
[Possible Spoilage for this and The Darkest Minds]That was... forgettable. True, I slept through part of it, and had to rewind a couple times, but it didn't get any better on the re-watching. Traveling movie review #1: The Darkest Minds
Between SEA and ORD, I watched The Darkest Minds.

It was a nice movie, and the ending felt like a gut-punch to me... I hadn't realized that I had invested so much in the characters until one was "erased."
Rotten Tomatoes only rated it 17%... because it was just another dystopian YA drama? I agree it's nothing like high cinema, but I certainly ( Read more... ) -

I enjoyed Christopher Robin quite a lot.
Ewan McGregor has great emotional range.
