I read "Another slug PIE". My first thought was that Germans eat some weird shit, and why would you go to all the trouble to make slugs into a pie, what with the de-mucus-ing you'd have to do and all. Escargot are bad enough.

My family wouldn't bother with the prep - rather eat them raw. At least, my youngest sister did. Mom saw her chewing something as a toddler, and checked her mouth - nothing. But there was this yellow goo all over her teeth... she tried scraping it off, while asking "Maggie, what have you eaten?" That when Mags held up the other half of a banana slug.
