Corpus Christi and change

I love Corpus Christi and over the last few years in Cardiff and Bristol I've struggled to find places which keep it as well as LSM did in Cambridge on the historic date of the Thursday after Easter. The RC church I sometimes go to in Corsica is less Roman than LSM seems to have become. In fact, it's quite like LSM used to be in many ways now. New priests in each location have made the one less comfortable, and the other more so. While it's awkward the first time one goes into a church and doesn't know what to do (the old LSM service sheet was a mine of information compared to the one in Calvi, and that's if one can get hold of one) it only takes going a couple of times before one basically knows what to do. I do need to learn the liturgy *properly* in French (and Corsican, and Latin) to feel more at home.

Another of my regrets at LSM is that "people for our prayers" has vanished from the newsletter :-(

In some ways I agree with you re. your objections (no surprises there!), but in a few cases, maybe based on our different subsequent post-LSM histories, I don't. I've added comments to the negative stuff, not to focus on it, but because I thought it might make an interesting reflection ( ... )

If we ever end up with electronic individual service sheets (e.g. handing out tablets/downloading service sheets) people could choose what they need to negotiate the service ( ... )
