The finale was great. I think they let several minor plot lines dribble off this season without doing much for the show (Shannon's death, Ana and Jack, Claire and Locke, Sawyer got the guns and meds, then gave them back; men of faith and science can both be idiots); maybe too many different writers working within the masters' storyplan? But the major arcs are the substance of the finale (button, others), and they do a great combination of answering some questions while raising a whole new slew. Things end in a nicely precarious way, but nothing like last season's "open the hatch, cut to black." You know exactly what trouble various groups are in; new info was revealed getting them there, but do they get out? Will anyone besides Eko get the better of Henry in a conversation? What's up with the dog, anyway? All hanging out there.
