I was going to ask for workable plans to bring lasting peace, or even short-term peace, to the Middle East. That was too depressing, so...

What'd everyone have for dinner?

Still up for a salon?
Though I haven't watched the news in two days, it doesn't seem like very much has changed. :(

I'm reminded of those cartoons, where the world needs a mother to send everyone to sit in their own corner until they can play nicely.

I had various dishes made of fish and crabs, none of which I have any clue how to name or even describe in English. Sorry. They were all delicious though. I probably ate more than I should. =]

well, not a dinner but lunch (it was Shabbat, so big lunch and no dinner after) - we had only rice with lentils, some kind of souce with chicken, soya cubes in tomatoes and carrots, and very modest salat. and huge pile of cookies and cake :D not quite healthy, but whatever.

The kids and I were invited to a neighbor's house for a BBQ with his family. They had brats, burgers, hot wings (melt your tongue kind), and deer tenderloin slices with a onion/jalapeno relish. Washed my dinner down with a couple Budweisers.
