Online Stores that cater to J-Pop fans

There are seven reliable online stores that I know of that offer J-Pop merchandise. These are Amazon Japan, CDJapan, HMV Japan, Mandarake, Play-Asia, Surugaya and YesAsia. I have been online shopping for J-Pop goods for a number of years now and I can say they're all good and I recommend all of them.

Hello po. For YesAsia, if above 39 USD, is the free shipping worldwide? or for local address? If there's shipping fee, how much is it usually po? And do they sell photobooks of actors too? Thank you. 😄

Hello there! Sorry for the late reply. For YesAsia, they already increased it to 60USD for free shipping internationally. Yes, they have photobooks and magazines of actors too. Have fun browsing their sites! :)

I am planning to buy manga books from CDJapan, if that happens it will be my first ever international order so I am definitely scared. What would be your most recommended shipping service from that store? One with direct delivery to house as I am far from customs.

I am from the Philippines btw :))

Regarding the most reliable shipping, I would recommend DHL if you don't mind expensive shipping too. It is the fastest shipping option on CDJapan. I wouldn't recommend FedEx since they will charge you an additional 600 Php estimate for storage fees. You could also opt for EMS as the postman will deliver your parcel to your doorstep.

Order Status

Hi po! I stumbled upon this post so I was wondering if my question would be answered 😅

So I recently ordered a blu-ray disc on HMV Japan and it says estimated shipping is on February 25, 2022. It’s been days now and my order’s status remains in transit/processing/preparing for shipment. And there’s no tracking number given yet since it says no deliveries have been made yet. Tanong ko lang po if this is normal and how many days would it take for my order to arrive? Thank you! ✨

Hi! Thank you for your comment. Yes, this is normal for HMV Japan. It really takes days to get the item into the shipment process. Kindly wait for a week for your item to be shipped. :)
