So, that whole "too busy to be lonely" thing has been shattered. It didn't help that Columbus turned into a minor disaster area last night. We re-located play practice to another cast-member's house, a few blocks away, because he was somehow in the small island of light in middle of powerless north campus. Didn't end up going to Rocky last saturday, though I would have liked to. I was just too tired, and had to wake up early the next morning to go to the zoo with my family. So, between yesterday and today (all while I was at work), my maintenance man fixed everything wrong with my place except for the carpet! Yay! I can open and shut all my doors, and I have a rod for my shower curtain, and my bathroom sink drains and all that good stuff. Well, my vacation came to a screeching halt when I came home from the beach to spend the week preparing for my move. Then I spent all of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday moving, with a lot of help from some awesome friends. I got up at 6am today to watch the sun rise over the ocean. It was not as spectacular as I had hoped. I think that perhaps all the beautiful postcards of dazzling sunrises are actually sunsets over the sound. Bexley camp was awesome, as usual. I even got a hint of a tan (although I'll get a lot more of one at the beach next week!). Plus, my 3-year-old nephew came to camp for a few afternoons. So, Comfest went pretty well. I do love me some Comfest. I went for at least a few hours each day.
