Poetry Fishbowl Report for January 22, 2013

Jan 27, 2013 16:36

The featured series for this bonus session was Fiorenza the Wisewoman.  I worked from 12:45 PM to 1:45 AM, so about 11 hours 30 minutes, allowing for the usual breaks.  Prompts trickled in throughout much of the day.  I wrote 10 poems on Tuesday and another later.

The length ran long, just over half epics, with several long poems and one medium-short.  Most were free verse, with a single villanelle.  Most combined multiple prompts.  I also filled a few squares on my Dark Fantasy Bingo Card.

Activity was low, as it often is in the mid-month fishbowls.  There were 30 comments on LiveJournal and another 7 on Dreamwidth.  A total of 13 people sent prompts.  There were no new prompters or donors, though.
