"The Antique Icebox" -- 42 lines, $20 SOLD
Here by popular acclaim is a poem about the radiator dragon and an ice box dragon. The family of Monster House encounters an interesting critter while camping in a cabin. "The Antique Icebox" is written in free verse.

The prompt about a dragon's death led to the free-verse poem "Bones of Light and Fire." Dead dragons hold the potential for beautiful gems. This poem belongs to the series A Conflagration of Dragons.

as the veteran slowly trudged

leaning heavily on his crutch.
There was only one place to go,
if you wanted something better
than a peg leg and a pension.

I wrote another poem about the dragon of forgetting. "Hatching into the Future" is written in free verse, about what happens when one of the sleeping knights is ready to wake up.
The dragon wakes
when one of the cocoons
against her flank begins to rock.
Quickly she noses the others
out of the way so that
they will not be disturbed.

A Dreamwidth prompt inspired the free-verse poem "Of Restful Inclination." Shahana and Ari find a village destroyed by a dragon, and go looking for the dragon, but not for the usual reasons.
There was not much left of the village
when Shahana and Ari arrived.
A few curls of smoke rose lazily
from the embers of the buildings.
There were patches of blood here and there,
but oddly, no bodies and no scavengers.
Broken fences leaned drunkenly.
Scuffed tracks in the dirt
hinted at the past altercation.
