"The Age of Reasons" -- 75 lines, $37.50
From this I got the free-verse poem "The Age of Reasons." Mad magic leads to the loss of magic in the world, replaced by an excess of order, and everything changes.
"The Alpha Blight" -- 46 lines, $20
A Dreamwidth prompt requested a linguistic plague. That turned into "The Alpha Blight," a free-verse poem about biological warfare gone horribly wrong. This is more horror than science fiction in tone, although the basis is scientific.
"The Science of Madness" -- 59 lines, $20 (Torn World)
This led to the free-verse poem "The Science of Madness." After Rilaru's death, Oranaan pursues a new line of inquiry in hopes of understanding the Anomalies.
