Poetry Fishbowl Report for June 2, 2015

Jul 06, 2015 19:48

Our theme in June was "outgrowing old ideas." I worked from 12:30 PM to 5:30 AM, so about 15 hours allowing for lunch and supper breaks. I wrote 10 poems on Tuesday and another 6 later.

Participation was a little lower, with 20 people sending prompts.
lone_cat, already a donor, posted a prompt for the first time.

Buy some poetry!
If you plan to sponsor some poetry but haven't made up your mind yet, see the unsold poetry list for June 2, 2015. That includes the title, length, price, and the original thumbnail description for the poems still available.

All currently sponsored poems from April have been posted, and backchannel copies sent to the prompters of the rest. Per the $200 goal, "Under Any Other Scenario" was the free epic. Per the $250 goal, that's two tallies toward a bonus fishbowl. Per the $300 goal, there was a half-price sale in Schrodinger's Heroes.

There were only three donors this time, all regulars:
janetmiles, Anthony and Shirley Barrette.

The Poetry Fishbowl project also has a permanent landing page.
