The following poems from the February 17, 2015 Poetry Fishbowl are currently available. Poems may be sponsored via PayPal -- there's a permanent donation button on my LiveJournal profile page -- or you can write to me and discuss other methods.

There are still verses left in the linkback poem "Learning to See."  Linking to this page will reveal new verses of that.

"Caos Neve"
Your Giancarlo prompt inspired the free-verse poem "Caos Neve." Giancarlo gets snowed in with Desideria and her infant daughter. Desideria takes a fancy to him. Giancarlo is a little freaked out.
134 lines, Buy It Now = $67

It began not long after Christmas,
when Giordano was helping other families
bring in extra firewood if they didn't have
anyone who could chop and carry their own.

Desideria had a very old mother
and a very young daughter,
so they needed a lot of firewood.

"On a Dark Horse"
After Orfeo's death, a strange apparition visits the village.
130 lines, Buy It Now = $65

After the assault on Don Candido
and his rescue by the griffins,
it was necessary to scrape up
what was left of Orfeo.

Fiorenza did what she could
to reassemble him for the funeral,
but not all the pieces were there
and they were rather small.
