Gordon Brown was very smug about being the first foreign leader invited to Obama's White House. He forgot, of course, that lapdogs usually get first access to their master. Barack Obama knows full well that Brown is as much a craven bootlicker as Blair and so invited him in order to keep a poodle for the future
