I am artistically crap, and all *I* really did was change some text... but I like it all the same. I am starting to get eager about WAR, albeit rather cynical after the last few years of MMO releases.

Damn NDA is still up. All I can say is, it's not my usual reaction to PvP -- I'm actually *doing* some RvR, which should tell you all you need to know, knowing me.

I don't think it's an NDA break to say crafting is a little closer to WoW than to SWG, but they're trying to make it fresh and easily accessible too.

As for the server split, I'm wondering if there isn't something that can be done. Several of the CoWs are non-US based (Euro, Oz, Japan etc). In any case I owe you enough that I could spot you a few months' subs! There might be game cards or something? Not sure yet.

I can happily recommend taking a look at the game. If you can wangle getting into the Open Beta (not at all sure how that works / will work), it'll give you an idea.

I blame WoW. Before that, in AC, EQ, SWG, etc etc etc you could just log on to US servers and be done with it. I don't know what the whole "YOU MUST PLAY IN YOUR GEOGRAPHIC AREA!!!!" fascism comes from.
