[He makes some odd grimace as he tries to answer the next statement.] This blackout has been... quite difficult for me, mais, I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight...

We went after the core. It reacted... badly. The blackout occured around the same time which indicates it's connected.

[He frowns slightly.]

"Mon cher"? [After a brief pause:] I was injured, but I've taken care of it. Hopefully I didn't miss any bone fragments...

[He rubs his arm thoughtfully.]

I got into a fight with someone who apparently had metal armor. [A pause.] Or they were a highly developed cyborg ninja. At any rate, they used a particularly dangerous block - one that tends to break bones even without metal reinforcement. I couldn't do anything to tend to it until the morning because of the darkness.

At any rate, it's healed by now. It still aches a little but it's mostly fixed.
