You know, when I read this, my first reaction was, "I need to go onto Livejournal and see what the internet thinks about this."

Lo an behold: yours was the first entry on my friends page.

I guess we can say good bye to any instance of blood, cursing, or sex in any Marvel comic to follow.

It was nice to see. I was afraid I'd have to scroll through some entries on 101_1001 or Metaquotes

That was my immediate reaction too. But really I don't think it will be so bad. Disney owns Miramax, don't they? And that doesn't seem Disney-fied at all.

Besides, Marvel pimps itself out a lot anyway, so I can't say I'm completely surprised at the move.

I just hope they keep their fingers out of it. And it ruins the Universal theme parks cause now all the Marvel stuff will be shipped off to Disney-whatever.

I just want to see the art people make in response to this. I really don't want to see any Disney branding on my comics. I'll want to break things.

I like DC and they are owned by Warner Bros. I don't think Disney wants to change Marvel.... they just want to collect the money from it. It said it may actually HELP Marvel out now that they are owned by Disney.

Marvel doesn't need help. They did Iron Man all by themselves and it's the best Marvel movie to date.
