Cardio X again. I'm not as sore today as I was day 2 (thank heavens) but I am still feeling the pulls in my hamstrings/glues. Hip flexor seems to have recovered itself largely overnight, but I wasn't going to tempt fate, and I jogged in place rather than doing Superman/Banana exercise today. Also skipped out on the Dreya Roll, as I had just eaten scrambled egg beaters and turkey bacon about 45 minutes beforehand, and didn't relish the thought of scraping that off the wall post-workout.
I'm still having a hard time keeping my heart rate down in a recommended range. After a lot of leaping around, it still gets into the 180's, and I'd ideally like to keep it in the 160's or below. Resorted to using the pause button between exercises for about the last 20 minutes, just to make sure I didn't explode. Then again, I have to question a little how accurate the HRM is (yes, I am sweating enough at that point to get good contact) because, while I feel a little winded, I don't feel like it's dangerous or uncomfortable. I'd be curious how high it says my HR gets when doing my 3k program on the treadmill.
Yes, I will be investing in a women's HRM shortly, rather than using the one I got for the DH. But I want the more GEE BEES.
