I think the story is indeed predictable, but I guess the positive message behind it (about being brave to choose the tough life, even after losing someone very valuable) is very good, I think.

I still can't fully understand basic Japanese really well, do you think it's hard for people like me to understand the language used in butai?? Is Japanese your mother tongue?

Japanese is not my mother language.

I have some friends who don't understand Japanese but they watched butais. Of course it's difficult to understand the dialogue, but I think there's no problem about understanding the story. For example, what's going on in the current scene.
