Still in Lijiang on unreliable internet. The Asus service center here basically replaced my entire harddrive, and reinstalled Windows 7 for me... in Chinese. =____= At least I mostly understand wtf is going on. I'm going to have to reinstall it in English when I return to the US. Seriously. Fuck my life ( Read more... )

Yes! I was so relieved! It's probably because Asus is a Taiwanese company, and their computers are more popular in China (and really all over East Asia, compared to the USA).

Thanks, Ari! I have been having a great time so far. I wish I'd remembered to bring my e-card reader for my camera. I forgot that this laptop doesn't have a built in card-reader. Otherwise, I'd post more pictures! It's so beautiful here in Southwest China!
