I have a brother who is 2 years older than me. He live in Bandung while I and our parent live in Bekasi. One week ago, he went to the training held by his company in Jakarta. Because this week we have a long weekend, he decided to stay in bekasi for awhile after his training over.
He brought a lot of clothes and his laptop. He supposed to come home on january 21st. So, it was this Saturday I thought. While waiting for him, I went play to hime's (putriwulandaric) house and I usually come home at 06.30 or 07.00 PM. Suddenly, my mom called me at 5.00, asking me where I am that time. I said, "At hime's house". Mom suddenly asked me to come how right now, she said that my brother has been robbed on his way back home to Bekasi.
I'm so shock that my heart beats so fast. I went home directly after I finished copying ARASHI videos from hime. I thought he was being robbed somewhere in Jakarta, but it surprised me when he said that he was being robbed at bekasi. Bekasi! His own hometown! Maybe he looked like a potential victim. He said that there was no other pedestrian in the street, and he was calling his friend when suddenly two men approached him, huddled up his shoulder, and pointed a knife to him. Suddenly there was this mysterious taxi -apparently it was their friend drives the taxi- came, and my brother was forced to get on the taxi. They bring my brother to the highways, take all his precious belongings (laptop, cell phone, modem, money he get from training) and get him off in the middle of highways.
So, he left a lone there and try the stop the cars passing. Fortunately, there was this empty taxi passed the highways and he stopped it. I don't know what to say, that laptop is quiet new, so does the cell phone, and his DBE earphone. I can't imagine that when he goes back to Bandung he won't have laptop. I and my brother LOVE computer, we almost always sit in front of it everyday for at least 8 hours. The worst thing is, he also lost his cell phone and all the contacts he has in it.
Hope my father will kindly buy him the new one. I pity him since recently he has become a very reliable big brother. But I still thank God for letting him home safely.
DON’T BE THE POTENTIAL VICTIM. JUST DON'T STAND IN A QUIET PLACE. ALWAYS BEWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND AVOID SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE.
