Thanks so much for the reply. I didn't think anyone would reply at all because I haven't updated in nearly two months. Honestly the fact that there's still people paying attention to this journal at all means a lot. Thank you so much for your sympathy, I feel like I'm being over dramatic and girly but I can deal with being like that sometimes.
To me, they were a great band and they'll always be my number one no matter what. It's sad to see, but I wish them all of the best.
Well written Trish, much nicer then my freaked out post from last night. It's safe to say that Kirito seems just as shaken up as the fans do. No we won't get any kind of farewell other than this announcement by him, but as you said....it's a good thing that they don't continue on with something that not everyone's heart is in. I can't see any other singer than Kirito, no other bassist than Kohta, guitarists as Aiji and Jun or a drummer than Takeo. Pierrot was solidly those five members and could have not been any others. This step has got to be hard for all of them, especially someone like Kirito who puts all this weight on his shoulders for being the blame. The blame shouldn't go to any of them. They've grown, created wonderful and insightful music. They will continue to do so, just in parts. We as the fans need to continue showing our love and support to them by biding them a heartfelt farewell and be committed to supporting everything else they set out to do in the future. I'm greatful that Kirito was such a leader as to

I know, I guess since this is just the first day I'm almost still having trouble believing that this is really happening. I suppose I wasn't expecting it to happen so soon. Thanks so much for commenting and I know we'll support Kirito, Aiji, Jun, Kohta, and Takeo in whatever they do!
Yeah >.<. I know it's tough to be sympathetic because you really didn't know them and listen to them like Michelle and I did. It really is unfortunate that it happened, and so terribly sudden too. Thanks so much for commenting!
That sucks. Like, a lot. Pierrot is one of my favorite bands, and it's sad to know that I'm not going to be getting new music from them. Kirito's solo project is passable, but all it is is Pierrot light. He can quite do it without Jun's knack for melodic hooks (the upside to any synth guitarist) and Aiji's rockin' guitar work (Aiji is one of my favorite Japanese guitarists because he, like Akiya of Kagrra and Kaoru of Dir en grey, have taken inspiration from Sugizo and developed a style that resembles the greatness of Sugizo with flat-out being a low rate imitation

Well in terms of Kirito's solo project, I completely agree with you. Although before the album came out, Kirito said that he wasnt trying to make it different. So now that the band's split up, I'm banking that he'll be putting some real effort into making something completely different from Pierrot in the future with his solo efforts. It's not going to be the same without Jun and Aiji doing backup, the emphasis on Kohta's bass, and Takeo's original mix if electronic and acoustic drums.
As for the 20th anniversary tour. I think you've got a point going there, and I can only hope that it'll really happen. I was hoping for at least a last goodbye tour or a goodbye album sort of thing. However, they're not even doing that. I'll be hoping for the next few days that they'll announce a final tour, even though they won't. They ended it painfully abruptly, and I support their decision for it. All I can hope for is the big 20th Anniversary Tour. I'll be there too.
