how Set became an incense junky

Did you ever smell an incense so beautiful, that you had to resist the urge of hugging the incandescent stick and getting burn marks all over your body? Because I do right now. I dug out the old Chinese incense I got once from my grandfather. He brought it back from one of his diplomatic trips, back in the days when Poland and China were Brothers in Red ;). It doesn’t look special in any way. Just an old paper box filled with thin sticks, all broken to pieces. It’s hard to find one longer then 2 cm. The box is covered in those “fucked up” Chinese writings, I came to love so much lately (;P) and on top there is an embedded philosophically sounding engrish sentence: “The incense is made from sandal wood and other high grade incense”. I’m still trying to figure out the wisdom of this phrase... I’m starting to suspect that it might be some sort of hallucinogenic weeds... Because no matter how bad day I’m having, one sniff of “Chinese Smokey” and I feel happy~

Regardless of the package and the story behind it, it’s the smell that counts. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s far from the cheap aroma you encounter in every India-shop. The smoke reminds me of those windless nights in the middle of hot summer, you spend sitting by the open window, doing nothing, thinking nothing and just enjoying the peace~
Or maybe it just reminds me of the anti-mosquito incense my mom used to burn in summer when I was little ;)

*feels happy some more*

And today this feeling is doubled by a lovely new acquisition for Grunbeld. I finally bough myself a second hard drive. 160 GB. Together with my old one it gives together total 240 GB of disk space *___*
Oh, what ever shall I fill it with~?
*looks around*
Well, this is certainly a good thing to start with~

*feels v. happy*
